I own so many DVDs and Blu-rays. Mainly DVDs, as they're cheap as shit (I can get them at CEX for £1 each or at most charity shops for a 3 for £1 deal) and also have way more special features and cool shit.
I started properly collecting DVDs in May 2021. The day I left Year 11 I went out and got a stack of DVDs, and so my collection began.
So far I have 189 DVDs, give or take a couple through documentaries on special features being sometimes classed as films on letterboxd. I don't know how many Blu-rays I have, I'd guess around 20/30, I really don't buy them much.
The collection as of 23/06/24
I've ordered all of them alphabetically, which I've been doing since I started, so it isn't that much of a pain to stick to that. A lot of my dvds are horror films, but there are a fair amount of action and sci-fi in there too, as well as some new releases like Pearl and Asteroid City.
I didn't put pictures of the collectors editions and boxsets I have, but I have A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Saw, Alien, Final Destination, and The Matrix as boxsets. I also have a boxset of all of Tarantino's films up to Kill Bill Vol.2.
Also, yes, this page was just a reason to show off my collection. I mean, if you have one, why not show it off?
